Does that title sound like I'm giving away my book club?
We met last night to discuss Nobody by Creston Mapes.
Everyone liked this book.
Everyone except for sweet Mrs. Joy.
Sunday at church, she informed me that she doesn't care for the intrigue, mystery or suspense.
She's 88.
She stood us up last night.
We really do have a fun group of girls. Last night we especially enjoyed lots of laughter and food.
Oh. And books.
Until Oliver jumped into the snacks.
Into them.
He feels quite bad about it.
And really...it was chicken salad. The temptation was just too great.
Just the other day, in fact.
Oh, how I digress.
I handed out our April selection, Stuck in the Middle by Virginia Smith.
I haven't finished it yet, but I am loving it so far!! It is a great story centered around a middle sister. I don't have sisters. But I think this seems like what it might possibly be like if I did, in fact, have sisters.
I think.
I'd love to give a copy of this book to one of you!!
Just leave a comment on this post and I will pick a winner on Monday night.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 8.
And I'm not giving away my book club.
I'd love a copy of that book.
What kind of cat is Oliver? He looks very very similiar to my Lilac Point Himalayan - Gimli, who is way overdue for a nice haircut. Oliver looks very neat and polished.

I love books books and more books. More than my love of a McDonald's #3 plain with a diet coke.
And I love my sister, my only sister and sibling, who lives 1500 miles from me, so this book will heal my pain and grief from being so far from her (and her 9 kids, who she homeschools) ( I kid you not).

Ooh! Pick me! I need something to read, since I haven't paid my library fine yet...
I can tell Oliver is very sorry by the smug look on his face.

I LOVED 'Nobody,' thanks to you. Maybe I'll win again and you can keep me in a lifetime supply of good books to read.
Also? Still not tired of pictures of that hairless cat. Keep 'em coming!

I have to say it cracked me up how REGAL Oliver looked, you know with all the throne, king and queen talk!

I love that cat. I mean, really, if I could have a cat, I would want Oliver. He just rocks.
I would like the book, too since you won't be giving Oliver away, though. :)

Me, me! I'm a middle sister! Two sisters on either side, so the universe MUST revolve around me, right? If we win, will the book come with the kitty with the nice 'do and the Cherry Garcia? :-)

I don't have time to read a book right now. (Your blog is my novel. How's that for pressure?)
But I'd dearly love some Cherry Garcia, if you want to send that my way.
