On to another of my favorite things...
Candles.
What's the latest & greatest?
What's your all-time fave?
Are there other smell good things that you love that I need to know about?
I'm kind of in a candle rut.
I've been burning this one. I love the smell. I just don't love the packaging.
I never said I was easy to please.
This is a good fragrance, too.
I like this.
The end.

I've been reading your blog for a while, but I believe this may be my first post! Hi!
We love WoodWick candles around here. They last forever, smell great and are modern looking too! Our favorites are this one:

Mmmm, Woodwick candles are wonderful! I've only gotten them from thrift stores... My favorite scent in general is cinnamon..no apple, just plain cinnamon.
Now, if they'd make a candle out of that Bermudan men's cologne "Royall Spice" it burn it all the time - I LOVE that smell! I just sprayed some all over myself at the Mast General Store. My dad has always worn it and still does in his late 70's, and it's such a wonderfully exotic, spicey, unique scent. AND I guess I feel a little nostalgic around it...

Here's a link to the Royall Spice (et al.) colognes, in case you'd like your husband to smell like Bermuda;) http://royalllymebermuda.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8&zenid=a7ntgkv6ufnduasorkr49evjj1
Royall Lyme is nice, too; not sure about the other scents. Too bad that website doesn't have scratch-n-sniff...

I was a Yankee Candle girl all the way until I moved to Texas. I was introduced to Tyler Candles and love them. They last SO long and the scents are awesome. My favorite will forever and always be Homecoming. It is the best Fall candle around. I like Birthday Cake, French Vanilla Oak, and PearBerry as well.

The one that jumps to mind was one that I bought from a home party sale(like Avon)-- maybe Partylite? It was called something like "Caramel Vanilla" and I could have eaten the thing with a spoon. It smelled soooo good. The mango guava sounds like something I may have to try out. Thanks for sharing.

I like Yankee Clean Cotton. Very clean, not strong scent.

My favorite Candle is my daughter. She's almost 19 now, and fits her name perfectly. She's been a light in my world!

I've been digging on Caldrea's Kitchen Candle in Saffron Quince. Sooo, yummy.

Have you tried bath & body's vanilla coconut? OH MY SWEET HEAVENS. Not the classiest (and honestly, all candle packaging is up there with kleenex boxes for me) but the smell will win you friends.
i also love any tyler candles. ANY. grab one in dallas.
and the vanilla coconut (or orange vanilla?)...something like that in trapp. i'm sure you've sensed (for the love) the vanilla theme--so i hope that's an option. if not, i'm of no help whatsoever.

I'm off candles and I went Scentsy.

The scents are out of this world and it's safer and cleaner than candles. I love the warmers and they can double as night lights. You can leave them on all the time, even with pets and kids around.
I love the coffee scents and Havana Cabana is like being on Vacation.
That's my two scents!

I'm a scentsy girl now too. I have scentsy plug in's in my bathrooms, and a scentsy unit in my living area. My house smells sooo yummy. I'm loving the Beach scent right now, but the clean cotton and french kiss are also amazing!

Tyler candles are great; I also love the Trapp Orange Vanilla. I try to buy soy-based (less VOC's, or something?), and believe it or not, the Glad soy candles smell great (at least the red fruity one does).

Vanilla Lime from Gold Canyon is my new fave.

Now that one is gorgeous and we have it over here in the UK. I am not sure if it is still available or even if you can get it in the USA but I love the smell of freshly cut grass and I am sure it was yankee candle that once did one of that very same smell - my house smelt gorgeous for months!

Also a rut....Voluspa for now.

Candles schmandles! I love candles till it comes time to blow them out - then all that good smell goes up in smoke. I am on an Aromatique "Room Fragrance Spray" kick right now and loving "The Smell of Spring" scent. Yes, it's a tad perfumy, but it makes my bedroom smell like flowers!

Love candles! Yankee, Voluspa, Trapp are my favorites for long lasting scent. I also love The Slatkin and Co. fragrances.
