After adopting through our foster care system here in the US and going through all THEIR red tape, I can't imagine all the steps to adopting internationally. I will pray for a fantastic doctor for La Princesa and that she will be home with you soon!

Have you checked with Dr. Francisco Montiel in Guatemala City? He is a reputable Guatemalan pediatrician/neurologist and is well-respected by western doctors. He treated our daughter in 2005-06 while waiting for her to join us in the U.S. Please look into him accessing your daugter's needs.

Best wishes to you as you move through the red tape of Guatemala and the Hague hold ups. I hope your little girl is able to join you sooner rather than later.
