OHHHH I feel your pain. We have gone to regionals with my son for the last 4 years, not for science but MATH. Small school = almost every child goes. Yippee.

BwwwwaaaaHaHaHaHa!!!! Hey, maybe the Princess will end up with a college scholarship and you can point to this moment and think, "it saved us thousands."

So funny and glad to see that that doesn't only happen to me. Just look at this way, the work is already done. Just add a here and there if you need to. Congrats to the Princess and her mama!

Congratulations on having your (excuse me, I mean The Princess') hard work rewarded!!!
Now you can adjust your standards appropriately for next year. Ha ha!

Oh No! My kids are not old enough for science fair projects yet. I've already warned my husband that he is going to be TOTALLY in charge of science projects because I really, really dislike them. Good Luck!

YAY for the Princess (and you!). One day you'll look back at the memory fondly. A day far far from now.

Bet you are asking yourself (again) "Did I help too much?", aren't you?
Posted by: Shawna | February 04, 2009 at 08:41 AM
I just BET you CANNOT. WAIT. heee heee hehe I'll for a bike ride in your honor today! Because I won't be trying to figure out where to store something so important where the kitty won't puke on it! good luck!

Ugh. I always tell my husband to build the pinewood derby car just slow enough that we don't win and have to go to districts. Should have done a less-than-stellar job on the science fair stuff, huh?

I'm sorry, but I'm really excited for the Princess! I'm a former Science Fair dork (was one measly spot away from qualifying for the National Science Fair when I was in the 10th grade) and I absolutely love them. I had a blast with my projects and really look forward to my girls getting old enough to do Science Projects.
And I'm not even kidding.
Have fun in Regionals!

CONGRATS!!!! That's hilarious. =)

Oh that's just cruel isn't it?
Good luck. And you can interpret that any way you want. Here's hoping the Discovery channel science fair people don't get wind of the princess' project!
