Randomness may reign in this post, y'all.
Prepare.
So I'm driving around our town's square tonight and notice some kids riding on the back of two really large animals.
Horses? Donkeys? Giraffes?
Nope.
Camels.
There were kids stuffed around the humps of two camels. Riding around the square.
I asked The King what was up with the Christmas dromedaries.
He said, "You know. That song 'Come, They Told Me..."
"Um. King? That is about a DRUMMER BOY. Not a DROMEDARY."
Bless his heart.
Now really, y'all. Bless his heart.
I thought I'd answer another one of your questions while I'm being random.
RRMama asked:
Have you ever met any of your other bloggy friends? Have you traveled to meet them or did they come to you?
I can answer that really quickly, rrmama.
No.
I know some of my bloggy friends in real life. But I knew them already.
So they are not necessarily my bloggy friends.
These are the blogging people that I know...
Oh. Wait. I lied earlier. I did meet Melanie from Don't Try This At Home and Bloggy Giveaways and Blogging Basics 101. I was visiting Shannon earlier this year and was so excited to have the opportunity to meet Melanie. She is hysterical.
I love hysterical people.
I have certainly made some great friends through blogging whom I would LOVE to meet.
One particular bloggy friend and I are planning to meet next year, in fact.
So thanks for asking the questions.
And for pitying that poor King.

YOU know Shannon at rocks in my dryer? Oh man! You guys are the rockin' hot blogger group!

About the question....
I have 5-6 "regulars" that visit my site and we have built a little "community", sharing snarky remarks, inspiring each other, cracking each other up!
Anyway, one of the girls is an American living in Nigeria, (Mare), who will be returning to the US in August. We 5 girls are all planning to throw her a welcome home party and all meet for the first time!
States represented are Oregon, Texas,Indiana, Illinois (SO. and Northern)and Owerri, Nigeria!
These girls have become some of my closest friends, can't wait to meet them!
We're planning on calling a talk show to see if they'll cover the story, maybe Oprah since the meeting will be in CHicago!

Hey! I was there eating at Tim's and then walking around freezing to look and the lights. OH and listening to my kids screaming and crying for cotton candy - fun times! The camel rides are fun, but my 10 year old says it's a bit scary with the littler ones she kept thinking they were going to fall off.

I was laughing at those camels the other night when we drove through! Maybe because that is supposedly what the wise men came on. We have to meet soon too! :)

I thought about the King tonight when my 8 year old was telling me that elephants are engaged. After some arguing, she told me, "You know! When there are almost no more of that animal." You mean endangered??? Poor little blonde thing. :)

What's with all your comments duplicating? Weird.
I do hope to be on the list for next year...
I was thinking about the Genie in Aladdin saying, "Watch out. They spit!" :) The King CRACKS ME UP!!!
